We warmly invite you to attend the Annual IOP Winter Tribology Fair on 19th February 2025 at IOP HQ in London. This free half-day event, organised by the IOP Tribology Group Committee, celebrates the advancements in tribology research. The conference will feature two exciting talks: Professor John Williams from the University of Cambridge will discuss Peter Jost and the invention of tribology, and Dr Erik Weiand from Imperial College London, the 2024 Innovation in Tribology Prize winner, will share his research on hair tribology simulation. 

This event also offers an excellent opportunity for early-career researchers to showcase their work to fellow tribologists. We encourage you to submit an abstract for a chance to win prizes in the poster presentation: £100 for first place and £75 for second.
