This free event, organised by the Tribology Group of the Institute of Physics will take place between 12:00 – 17:00. This event features an Early-Stage Researcher Poster Presentation, networking opportunities, refreshments and invited talks. 

 Celebrate your research by presenting your project with a 1-minute presentation of your poster during the Early-Stage Researcher Poster Presentation session and have the chance to win 1st (£150) and 2nd (£75) prizes for the best posters.

Prof Daniele Dini, Imperial College London will discuss how advanced modelling techniques can be used to control energy dissipation and design solutions for energy harvesting. Dr Mostafa Ellaithy, University of Southampton, will talk about the different stages and transitions of microstructural alterations developing in the subsurface of bearing steels during rolling contact fatigue.
