Abstract Submission

Researchers, students, and practitioners are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation at the UK Inertial Fusion Conference 2026.

The conference will provide an opportunity to share recent advances, emerging ideas, and ongoing research with colleagues from across the UK inertial fusion community, including representatives from academia, national laboratories, industry, funding organisations, and international partner organisations.

We welcome submissions on all aspects of inertial fusion science and technology, including, but not limited to:

  • High-energy-density physics
  • Laser-plasma interactions
  • Target design and fabrication
  • Diagnostics and instrumentation
  • Computational modelling and simulation
  • Fusion energy technologies
  • Materials under extreme conditions
  • Experimental facilities and capabilities
  • Industry-led innovation and applications
  • Emerging concepts and enabling technologies

The conference strongly encourages participation from students and early-career researchers and offers an excellent opportunity to present your work, receive feedback from experts in the field, and build new professional connections.
