The drive and delivery of sustainable fluids in industrial

Speakers – Charlotte Edwards and Paul Norris

With sustainability continuing to be a focus area within the lubricant industry, the question comes as to how best to deliver this for oil companies and end users. With reliable equipment performance a non-negotiable, an important balance between hand or foot print and performance trade-off is required when exploring new solutions. For example, a lower viscosity gear oil may be expected to enable reduced energy losses, but what is true impact on industrial gearbox efficiency and durability? End users not only look to performance reliability to minimise equipment downtime but also want to ensure supply of their solution for business continuity and operation. Afton will explore how additives play a crucial role in supporting the development of more sustainable options without comprising on that all important performance.
