Abstract Submission

Contributions for oral presentations and poster are invited. Abstracts should be a maximum of 500 words, including figures and references, and submitted online via this Google form by 27 September 2024. Please note that abstracts are being managed independently by the committee and, therefore, should you have any questions regarding the submission process or your abstract, please email jamesdoesscience@gmail.com

This year we are encouraging and will prioritise submissions that cover a range of different types of communications, audiences, and topics. This means that popular topics (such as astronomy projects for children) may be less likely to be selected.

As with last year we encourage these to focus on the lessons learnt from your projects that may be useful to others. All submitted talks should be 8 minute short talks.

We are also opening up poster submissions for a poster session which will be held during the lunch session. Additionally, if you want to bring along something for the poster session that is not a poster (some piece of kit or a demo) then please submit this as a poster but also please email the organisers at jamesdoesscience@gmail.com to discuss your requirements.
