Abstract Submission


Nuclear Forensics covers a broad range of multidisciplinary subject matter areas and provides opportunities for the application of research by forensic practitioners, geologists, planetary scientists, nuclear physicists, radiochemists, nuclear historians, and advanced statisticians, amongst many others. Details on our topical areas can be found here. There is also an 'other' category for any aspect of nuclear forensics that you feel does not fall into the defined topics.

Contributions are invited in any of the topics listed for:

  • A0 sized posters, with a 2-minute ‘elevator pitch’ oral presentation
  • Up to 12x 20-minute oral presentations (15 + 5 mins for questions)

Abstracts should be a maximum of 300 words and submitted online by 18 August 2023 (one image/figure is permitted). Presentations can be delivered in-person or virtually. Please click on the link below to begin your submission. Note that there is an expectation that by submitting an abstract, the presenting author will go on to register (when registration opens). There is no fee for submitting your abstract(s).

During your submission, please upload a recent photograph and short biography outlining your work and research interests which will only be visible once the programme is available. Please complete all sections of the form and agree to the terms and conditions. The corresponding author will receive an email confirming receipt of the submission. Further information can be found in the submission portal.
