Dr Zoë Henderson

Dr Zoë Henderson, Advanced Technologist at NSG Pilkington

Zoë works for the NSG Group, a global glass manufacturing company that makes glass products for architectural, automotive, and creative technology applications. She studied Physics at the University of Liverpool and went on to do a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire, where she studied the structure and interactions of ionic liquids at surfaces and interfaces. She was then a Faraday Institution Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, working on lithium ion battery technology using interface-sensitive techniques. In November 2021, she joined the R&D team at NSG Pilkington in Ormskirk, Lancashire, who use various analytical techniques to characterise glass, coatings and related materials.
