Professor Andrew Jardine

Andrew Jardine's research interests focus on studying surfaces and 2D materials using neutral helium beams. He has co-developed several novel forms of instrumentation to enable his work, including the helium spin-echo technique (HeSE), and more recently scanning helium microscopy (SHeM).  These have led to insights into the structure, dynamics and energy exchange processes occuring in a range of materials.
