The event is open to everyone, regardless of background - whether you are a practicing physicist or simply curious to learn more about the subject. Discounted rates are available for IOP Members and the following partnering organisatons:

Registration Fees

The Summer School and 2‑Day Conference Fee provides access to the relevant programme days—Monday 22 June for the Summer School and Tuesday 23 June and Wednesday 24 June for the 2‑Day Conference. Participants may register for either event individually or for both.

The fee includes refreshments, a drinks reception, all technical sessions, and access to the proceedings published in JPCS.
Please note that lunch and accommodation are not included.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.

Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received 13 June 2026.
