Registration

This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. The deadline to register is 4 October 2026.

Registration Fees

Registration options are available both for the conference only (Weds - Fri), or the conference plus the Training Days on Mon and Tues. Included in the fees: access to the programme (as booked), lunch and refreshments each day, and dinner and drinks receptions on days 3 and 4.

Non-Member

The annual fee for IOP Membership is £131. The concessionary fee is £39 depending on earnings.

Student Non-Member

Associate Membership is £15 for undergraduates, apprentices and trainees, and £118 for associated professionals. The concessionary fee is £35 depending on earnings.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.

Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received by 12 October 2025.
