IBSim-4i consists of a 2-day training course followed by a 2-day users' forum. With keynote speakers, the focus will be on the multi-disciplinary aspects of image-based modelling and their applications in industry.
Training is from Monday 17 to Tuesday 18 October 2022:
- Hands-on training with gVirtualXRay (gVXR) for simulating virtual XCT scans.
- Hands-on training for the Core Imaging Library (CIL), an open-source reconstruction platform for challenging and novel data.
User and Developer Forum is from Wednesday 19 to Thursday 20 October 2022
Friday 21 October 2022 is an optional day for stakeholders and additional interested parties to gain a progress update on the EPSRC funded project 'Inline virtual qualification from 3D X-ray imaging for high-value manufacturing'.
