Indico Programme

Catering

Please note that lunch will only be provided on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September. Eat Central is located on-site and is a cash-only restaurant. There is also a Co-op conveniently located near the venue. Lunch on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday will be at the delegate's own expense.

Poster Reception

A poster reception will take place from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday 1 September. A selection of canapés and refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

Conference Excursion

Delegates are encouraged to take part in the conference excursion on Thursday 3 September to Seven Sisters. There will be the opportunity to join a group walk or explore the surrounding sights.

Coaches will be leaving the university at 1:30pm, after lunch. Water bottles will be provided for the journey but please be reminded that appropriate footwear and clothing is encouraged.

Coaches will be leaving Seven Sisters at 5:30pm and returning back to University campus, please ensure you return back to the meeting point ahead of departure.

The conference dinner will begin at 7:00pm and is expected to finish at approximately 11:00pm.

Travelling from the University of Sussex:

By Bus

Take the 23 bus towards Brighton Marina.
Alight at Marina Cinema.
Malmaison is a short walk from the bus stop along the waterfront.
Journey time is approximately 30-40 minutes.

By Taxi

A taxi from the University of Sussex to Brighton Marina takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Travelling from Hotels in Brighton City Centre

By Bus

Take the Number 7 bus towards Brighton Marina.
The bus stops close to Malmaison and runs frequently throughout the day and evening.

By Taxi

A taxi from central Brighton to Brighton Marina typically takes around 10-15 minutes.

On Foot

Delegates staying near the seafront or Palace Pier may wish to walk. Brighton Marina is approximately a 30-40 minute walk east along the seafront promenade.

Return Journey

The dinner is expected to finish at approximately 11:00pm. Taxis are readily available from Brighton Marina, and bus services operate back towards the city centre throughout the evening. Delegates should allow approximately 10-15 minutes by taxi or 20-30 minutes by bus for their return journey.
