Registration Fees

The registration fee includes refreshments and lunch on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June, dinner at the Double Tree by Majestic Hotel on Friday 21 June, and dinner at the Crowne Plaza on Saturday 22 June. Dinner includes a three-course menu with 1/2 bottle of wine per person. 

Optional Extras

On Friday 21 June, there is an optional tour of the RHS Garden Harlow Carr. The ticket price is £30 to include entrance into the Gardens, coach transfers and refreshments. The excursion will take place from 09:00 - 12.30. There is also the option to participate in the EVC-17/ECOSS-37 conference on Thursday and/or Friday. The cost to participate on Thursday is £75 (and includes refreshments and lunch) or £50 for Friday (includes refreshments but not lunch).

Booking Information

If you have submitted an abstract to this event, please login using the same credentials, otherwise create an account. You should also read our terms and conditions and Code of Conduct prior to completing your registration.


Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing.  Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.


Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server. 

If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received 7 June 2024.
