The Institute of Physics Magnetism Group is calling for expressions of interest to host the 2027 edition of the Current Research in Magnetism (CRIM) event. Since 2019, CRIM has adopted a topical focus theme for each meeting, and seeks to attract leading national and international speakers to best showcase the current research in the selected field of magnetism.
CRIM is typically held in mid-September and is organised with assistance from the IOP Conferences Team and the IOP Magnetism Group. As an IOP special interest group event, registration is free for IOP members. In addition, the IOP headquarters in London, event website, and conference team are available as an in-kind contribution, while sponsorship up to £1000 is available through the IOP Magnetism Group.
We are particularly keen to welcome expressions of interest from enthusiastic early career academics who are keen to organise a network meeting in their area of magnetism as part of a fellowship, starter grant or Continued Professional Development (CPD). If you are interested in organising CRIM2027, please contact the IOP Conferences Team for more information.
