Dr Pamela Klaassen is a Project Scientist at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre, working on the next great observatories like the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), The Square Kilometer Array Observatory (SKAO) and the Atacama Large Apperture Sub-mm telescope (AtLAST). She studies the formation of the most massive stars in our Galaxy, focusing on the questions surrounding accretion and what sets the upper mass limit of a star through studies of the gas kinematics in these regions.
