The University of Dundee is hosting the 2022 STFC Introduction to Astronomy Summer School from August 21st, 2022, to August 26th, 2022. The School is aimed at new and recently-started PhD students and other early-career scientists in the field of astrophysics. We will cover different topics, ranging from exoplanets to starformation, observational techniques, galaxies, cosmology, gravitational waves, dark matter, and astrobiology, as well as transferable skills such as computational resources, careers advice, public engagement, and well-being.
