Public Event: Is there an "I" in "AI"?

The public event will comprise a talk by Dr Shamil Chandaria highlighting the interplay between consciousness and AI. Followed by a panel discussion on the topic: Is there an “I” in “AI”?

The panellists include:

• Prof Murray Shanahan (Imperial College London)
• Prof Lucilla de Arcangelis (University of Campania)
• Prof Marcello Massimini (University of Milan)

 The panel discussion will be followed by a Q & A session with the attendees and a networking reception in the end. A livestream link will be made available for those attending online.

Those attending in person, please arrive at least half an hour before the start of the event in order to avoid disruptions to the talk and the discussion.
