This event is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more.

Thanks to the incredible support of this year’s sponsors, we have been able to significantly reduce registration costs and are pleased to keep fees low once again. This support helps us ensure the summer school remains as accessible as possible to our community.
The registration fees includes refreshments and lunch for the duration of the school, a self-service canteen dinner on Monday and Wednesday, 6 and 8 July, a BBQ on Tuesday, 7 July and the conference dinner on Thursday, 9 July. Accommodation is not included and must be booked separately.
Please note that the Members/Associate Members fees are applicable to (IOP, ESAS and IEEE members).

If you are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Participant's absence at the conference is not the basis for refund of the Conference fee.
In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through STRIPE secure payment server.
If you are paying by BACS/Purchase order, an invoice will be attached to your registration confirmation. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days. Information on payment methods can be found via our website. We reserve the right to cancel any unpaid registrations. All payments must be received 3 June 2026.
