Hannah is a third year PhD student at the University of Manchester, and she currently works on the biological impact of VHEE radiotherapy. VHEE is a good candidate for FLASH radiotherapy, however there is limited knowledge about the effects of VHEE and lower energy electrons on tumour and healthy tissue. Hannah's project involves exploring DNA damage and repair effects post- electron irradiation, as well as cancer cell survival.
