The Institute of Physics South West Branch is proud to announce that this year's annual Festival of Physics will be held at the beautiful University of Exeter, Penryn Campus in Penryn, Cornwall on 22 February 2025 starting 10am till 4pm. We have been running the Festival of Physics in the southwest for over a decade, and this year it will finally make its debut in Cornwall!
We invite you to join us for this family friendly event, offering science demonstrations, talks from world leading scientists, a virtual reality show, and much more.
This year's theme is Worlds from Space, which will cover topics ranging from the remote sensing of weather, climate, and the environment here on Earth, to the climates of other faraway worlds, as viewed through space telescopes.
