This year’s IOP Higher Education Group (HEG) satellite meeting will explore the school physics curriculum, the skills students bring with them to university, and how we can better support the transition between school and higher education physics.

The event will take place at the University of Nottingham on the day prior to the ViCEPHEC 2026 conference and is open to all those with an interest in physics education.

Following the meeting, the Higher Education Group Annual General Meeting will be held, and all HEG members are warmly invited to attend.
