Surface Science Day 5 is the fifth in a series of one-day events focused on surface science. It is organised by the IOP Thin Films and Surfaces group, and aims to cover most aspects of research in surface science. PhD students, Postdocs, and early professionals are most welcome to attend. The day features a well-rounded programme of invited speakers from experimental and modelling background, with opportunities for interaction between sub-disciplines. In addition, there is a poster session for contributed research from delegates. Student posters are eligible for entry for a £100 poster prize and certificate, that will be awarded on the day.
