REMS (the London & SE Retired Members Section) has organised a one-day meeting on the subject of Navigation for 16 October. This is one of their series of At Homes and we are delighted to announce that this will be a joint meeting with the Royal Institute of Navigation.
Following a top-level introduction to the latest advances in terrestrial navigation, invited presentations will cover space navigation, the importance of resilient systems, precision agriculture and also, a talk from a renowned author on animal navigation.
Regular attendees will recognise that our At Homes are not just about the subject at hand, but they provide an opportunity for family attendance and catching up with old friends. As usual, the formal part of the day will be followed by a Reception. All are welcome.
