The Retired Members' Section of the London & South East Branch (REMS) present their winter "At Home" event which will examine tunnels and tunnelling. We start with some history and then look at the technology, maintenance and safety challenges and solutions involved in modern tunnel building techniques.
This event will be held in person at the Institute of Physics, 37 Caledonian Road, London and is open to all (members and non-members). It is free to attend – lunch and after-event drinks will be provided, but registration is required.
