The IOP’s Physics Powering the Green Economy Reception will be attended by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh KG GCVO, at the Institute of Physics, 37 Caledonian Road, London on 8 February 2024. This reception celebrates the crucial role of physics in tackling the climate crisis. Physics insights and the need for a long-term systems approach to leadership, coordination and delivery for the sector are set out in the IOP Physics Powering the Green Economy report, which was recently presented at COP28. We are honoured that HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is attending this exclusive reception which brings together senior leaders from business, academia and government to further opportunities for collaboration and strengthen our collective commitment to advance the green economy.
