Quantum Fluff

Fiction Film

Runtime 4:00

Francisco Porcel, Spain

Two friends debate an impossible theory where navel fluff are quantum particles that exist only when observed. When they decide to verify it, a single touch triggers a portal that pulls them into an unknown dimension.

The film is built around a comedic sci‑fi premise: a character proposes that navel fluff behaves like quantum particles in superposition, only “collapsing” into a definite state when it is consciously observed. To test the theory, the characters perform a “measurement” by touching it, which triggers an exaggerated, surreal chain reaction (a thunderous event and a spatio‑temporal portal). The story uses these concepts as a narrative engine and metaphor for how observation and curiosity can change outcomes, translating quantum ideas into accessible, character-driven fiction rather than a literal scientific explanation.
