Registration Rules

Each team member must register individually.

If registering as part of a team (3–4 people or a pair), please ensure you use the same team name.

If registering as an individual for a composite team, enter “N/A” in the team name field.

All team members must register by January 7th, 5pm.

Please also make sure each team member on your team registers using the same team name - we need this to be the case to be able to group you into your teams.

Privacy notice

Please note that the information you provide in this form will be used by IOP to administer and coordinate the PLANCKS 2026 UK & Ireland Preliminary and shared with both the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) and the PLANCKS 2026 UK & Ireland Preliminary and Finals Organising Committees, as well as the PLANCKS Advisory Board where it is required by them for those purposes. It may also be necessary for your information to be shared with service providers for the event (e.g. venues and caterers) to fulfil your registration. This information sharing is necessary to fulfil your registration and, by registering, you acknowledge that the details you provide, including any special requirements, may be used and shared in this manner.

To ensure sustainability, we are introducing a £15 entry fee for non-IOP members.
IOP Student Members: FREE
Non-Members: £15 registration fee

The non-member fee is the same as a full year of IOP associate membership (£15). When registering, you can choose to become an IOP member. This enables you to attend PLANCKS and enjoy a year of career support, resources, community events and conferences in your region and around the UK and Ireland, many voluntary opportunities for your CV, and a monthly subscription to Physics World, the main popular and trade magazine for physics.
