In light of various world-wide events and the scheduled closing of a number of isotope-producing reactors, it is timely to consider new medical isotope production and processing routes. The purpose of this even is to engage the physical sciences community in to thinking about new physics-based approaches to the generation of radio-isotopes for medical use.
