The Institute of Physics (IOP) would like to understand what the physics community thinks are the challenges and opportunities in `AI for physics and physics for AI’ and identify areas in which the IOP can have an impact, by leveraging on its credibility and ability to bring together all areas of physics and connect to business and industry.
This interactive one-day workshop aims to collate cross-disciplinary perspectives and prioritise opportunities and challenges. This workshop will build on the ongoing survey gauging the views of the physics community and explore opportunities where there can be impact on the UK economy, identify potential barriers and discuss ways to remove them.
