The IOP Women in Physics Group are inviting leading influencers from different areas of Physics to speak at this networking event, providing young people with an opportunity to directly discuss career journeys with those working in physics. The event is aimed at school students, particularly 16-18 year olds and undergrads/postgrads, however this event is open to anyone with an interest.

Students can register to attend this event individually, or schools can register to attend as a group.

Hosted in the beautiful Queen's Buildings at Cardiff University, this free event starts at 12:30 and ends at 17:00, with lunch and refreshments suitable for different dietary requirements provided. Click here for venue and parking information. If you are unable to attend in-person, online attendance is available.

After the lunch and networking session there will be talks from the speakers, discussing their careers in Physics, with opportunities for students to ask questions. Aspiring Physicists, students who want to learn more about career options and those who are thinking about the plans post school are all invited to learn and be inspired by our speakers.
