Bringing together students, early-career researchers, academics, publishers and industry, the day will explore the scientific challenges, career opportunities and research culture shaping the future of quantum materials.
From superconductors and semiconductors to photonics, defect engineering, 2D materials and beyond, participants will hear from leading researchers, meet potential collaborators and employers, and gain practical insight into building a career in quantum.
The programme will include a keynote lecture on materials challenges and opportunities for quantum technologies, an ECR-led session on barriers, opportunities and building a more inclusive quantum community, Ask the Editors, an industry plenary, and a Career Pathways Panel exploring routes across academia, industry and the wider quantum ecosystem.
There will also be a poster session and networking lunch, creating plenty of opportunities to share research, make new connections and discover where a career in quantum could take you.
Come for the science; leave with new contacts, new perspectives and a clearer view of your place in the quantum ecosystem.
Brought to you in collaboration with IOP and Materials for Quantum Technology (IOP Publishing).
