Dr Jess Wade

Dr Wade is an Imperial College Research Fellow investigating spin selective charge transport through chiral systems in the Department of Materials. Broadly speaking, her research considers new materials for optoelectronic devices, with a focus on chiral organic semiconductors. Outside of the lab, Jess is involved with improving diversity in science, both online and offline. Noted for her work tackling gender bias on Wikipedia and promoting women in STEM she has been awarded the british empire medal and noted as one of 'Nature's 10'.
