Are you a physics-powered start-up or micro business wanting to learn more about how to access scientific facilities?

The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is a world-leading multidisciplinary science organisation, and our goal is to deliver economic, societal, scientific and international benefits to the UK and its people – and more broadly to the world. We support research in astronomy, physics, and space science, and operate world class research facilities for the UK.

STFC’s National Laboratories provide research facilities and capabilities that, because of their scale, complexity, strategic character or cost, are appropriately operated as a UK national research resource. These facilities and capabilities include access for external users to neutron scattering and light source facilities, laser facilities, accelerator research facilities and high performance computing.

Whilst usually used by academic researchers, these facilities also offer industrial collaboration options, and so are also widely used by UK and international businesses. This webinar will introduce the STFC National Laboratories, their capabilities, will outline examples of industrial collaboration and provide information about how businesses can work with us.
