Workshop 1: Wednesday 22 October
This workshop will prepare you for applying to early career graduate jobs. We will go through the whole application form starting by providing prompts to consider where to apply for jobs and which kind of graduate scheme would suit you. Next, we will consider the application form itself, how to make it easier to fill in and discuss common pit falls. Then we will move onto your CV and discuss in detail what needs to be included and how to make it stand out to recruiters. Lastly, we will discuss the importance of a covering letter and how to write one that enhances your application. There will be time for questions and discussion, so come prepared with a list of what you want to know.

Workshop 2: Friday 24 October

This workshop will prepare you for the different types of interviews you can expect when applying for an early career graduate job. We will discuss skills test, work simulations, competency-based questions, technical interviews, HR interviews, individual and group tasks. For each we will look at what to expect, what the interviewers are looking for and how you can prepare to perform your best in the interview. There will be time for questions and discussion, so come prepared with a list of what you want to know.
