Registration


The IOP Joint APP and HEPP Annual Conference is open to everyone from all backgrounds whether you are a practicing physicist or if you have an interest in the subject and would like to know more. 

Please read our terms and conditions and code of conduct prior to completing your registration. 

The registration deadline date has been extended to Wednesday 22 March 2023.

Group payments (to avoid paying individual invoices for those attending from the same organisation/institution): please register as normal and choose bank transfer as the payment method. Email the list of names attending from your organisation/institution to vivien.thomas@iop.org and an invoice will be raised.

Registration Fees

The in-person conference fees includes access to the sessions, refreshments and lunch each day, drinks reception and poster session on Monday, and the Town Meeting and drinks reception and conference dinner on Tuesday. Joining online will provide access to the plenary sessions only, active participation will not be possible i.e. asking questions.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing.  Full details can be found in our terms and conditions. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Payment of Fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through RBS WorldPay secure payment server. All payments must arrive by 30 March 2023. After that day, we reserve the right to cancel all unpaid registrations. Please see alternative payment methods here.
