Debbie is a Teaching Fellow in Clinical Pharmacy and Head of Therapeutics for Aston Pharmacy School.

She had Master in Pharmacy degree, and she is currently a registered pharmacist with GPhC and independent prescriber. She has worked in the NHS for 19 years as a hospital pharmacist, specialist roles in surgery, gastroenterology and anticoagulation.

She worked as a Teacher Practitioner for Aston since 2010 before moving to full time academia in 2021.

She is a Senior Fellow of HEA and her teaching focuses on decision making, placements and IPE.

In 2024, she received a CATE Award as she is a key member of the PEIG team in developments and innovation in Professional Experiences for Aston Pharmacy School.
