The Institute of Physics invites you to join us for a day of talks, demonstrations and workshops at the 2025 Frontiers of Physics conference. Attendees will hear from experts on how they are adapting to new ways of teaching and learning physics, and will be able choose from a number of interactive workshops. The event will be a great opportunity to network with your teaching colleagues, make new connections in the world of education and pick up some great resources.
For our keynote lecture, we are delighted to welcome Professor Jonathan Coleman of Trinity College Dublin. Professor Coleman’s research interests include nanomaterials, carbon nanotubes, nanowires and two-dimensional nanosheets. He is one of the most cited material scientists globally and the most cited physicist in Ireland.
This conference is open to all teachers of physics, including Junior Science teachers, newly qualified teachers and trainee teachers.
This year’s conference will take place on Saturday, 20th September at the Institute of Physics, 35 Westland Row, Dublin.
