We welcome your contributions on recent progress, strategical development of materials and mechanics for nuclear fusion, including both structural and functional materials/coatings and the applied mechanics associated. Particular interest will be given to contributions focusing on developments and strategies including (but not limited to) the following topics:

1. Development and qualification of structural materials
2. High heat flux plasmas facing materials and components
3. Functional materials applied in blankets and n-affected systems
4. Fusion-specific applications of materials, including environmental effects
5. Materials engineering and application including joining of materials
6. Irradiation effects in neutron sources, accelerators and other test systems
7. Modelling and experimental validation of radiation effects and mechanical properties

Only 40 places for in person attendance are available.

The workshop is organised by the Applied Mechanics Group of the Institute of Physics, UK
