The Homi Bhabha and Cockcroft Walton Lecture Series is a long-standing bilateral exchange between the Institute of Physics (IOP) and the Indian Physics Association (IPA), celebrating global collaboration in physics since 1998.

As part of the Homi Bhabha and Cockcroft Walton Lecture Series, this event features Professor Rupamanjari Ghosh, a distinguished physicist and higher education leader whose work spans quantum science, institutional transformation, and inclusive policy development.

Drawing on her experience as a physicist, university leader, and advocate for inclusive excellence, Professor Ghosh reflects on the evolving landscape of equity, diversity, and inclusion in science. This talk explores the personal and institutional dimensions of EDI, highlighting both the challenges and opportunities in embedding meaningful change across academic and research environments.

Through stories of leadership, policy reform, and community engagement, Professor Ghosh offers insights into how scientific institutions can foster belonging, amplify underrepresented voices, and build cultures of accountability and innovation.
