We are pleased to invite you to the Energy-meets-Nano Workshop 2026, which will be held on 19 October 2026 at the Institute of Physics headquarters in London, UK.

Highlighting the close relationship between nanoscience and renewable energy related research, the workshop is organised by the Nanoscale Physics and Technology Group of the IOP. It aims to bring together experts, early career researchers and physics students, to identify mutual interests in the areas of nanoscience and the science / engineering for generation as well as storage of renewable energy, including energy harvesting and conversion. Moreover, it will provide the opportunity to identify aspects where the nanoscience community should be paying more attention to other relevant science areas.

While this in-person event will be open to all, online participation will be enabled for those who cannot attend in person. It is free for IOP members, with a nominal charge for non-members.
