Early career researchers often face the same critical question: how to turn promising work into a meaningful next step. From Now to Next is a one-day event designed to address that question directly.
Structured for postdoctoral researchers (PDRs), PhD students, and research fellows working in dielectrics, electrostatics, printing, graphic science, and related fields who are actively shaping their future. It will focus on three practical dimensions:
- Presenting your research with clarity and impact. A series of short research presentations will allow ECRs to share their work and exchange ideas in a setting designed for active dialogue and constructive feedback (see abstract submission)
- Understanding the landscape of opportunities. A Q&A session with experienced academics, innovators, and researchers. It will explore real trajectories, challenges, and decisions that shape careers.
- Building skills for progression. An interactive workshop will provide practical tools to generate impact from research and to identify personal strengths relevant to different career pathways.
The event is designed as a working forum for those building their careers now, with an emphasis on exchange, clarity, and forward planning. Submit your abstract or join the discussions for the day.
