Organised by the IOP Energy group, this one-day symposium is aimed at Early-Career Researchers interested in Energy. The event provides attendees with the opportunity to present their work in either an oral or poster format, as well as to network and hear from their peers. 

This symposium covers a wide range of energy-related topics, including batteries, hydrocarbons, hydrogen, nuclear, renewables, solar, and wind. Attendees will exchange ideas on the strengths and development needs of each energy type, exploring pathways for a sustainable energy transition. 

A key outcome of this event will be a policy briefing, addressing the challenges of achieving net-zero carbon emissions while ensuring an equitable and sustainable approach.
