The date of this conference has now been changed to the 20th September due to the Queens Funeral on the 19th September.

A series of discoveries in the last decade-and-a-half has shown interfaces of thin film superconductors and ferromagnets can be engineered to support an emergent spintriplet superconducting phase where these two phenomena cooperate. This established the field of superconducting spintronics where entirely new functionalities can be realised by utilising spin, charge and superconducting phase coherence. Recently, advances in experiments and theory has shown that spin-triplet proximity effects in presence of the subtle relativistic spin-orbit coupling can host Majorana bound states. This shows emergent spin-triplet superconductivity in artificial hybrid systems are far more enriching than previously anticipated. This focussed one-day meeting will bring together researchers working in lowdimensional (thin films and Van der Waals materials) superconducting and ferromagnetic systems to understand and explore spin-triplet pairing as a common unifying platform for next-generation ultra-low dissipative and topological quantum computing systems.
