Professor John Spray

Dr John Spray is the Director of the Planetary and Space Science Centre at the University of New Brunswick and a consultant to the aerospace, defence and space sectors. He obtained his BSc from Cardiff University and PhD from Cambridge. He is a co-investigator on NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory and ESA’s ExoMars rover missions. His expertise is in ceramic materials and high-strain rate deformation, including shock and high-speed frictional processes.
