This one-day meeting is a popular annual event providing a forum for those involved in using plasmas and ion beams for surface modification, surface analysis and thin film deposition.  This year’s meeting will focus on Thin Film Coatings for Electro-optics.

The aim of the meeting is to share the latest developments in the field, as well as provide a networking opportunity to establish contacts between related research areas. The format of the meeting includes invited speakers, as well as contributed talks and posters, in addition to a networking lunch and industrial table-top displays. In particular, early career researchers are encouraged to contribute their work, with dedicated oral presentation slots and a student poster prize.

The meeting is organised by the IOP Ion and Plasma Surface Interactions and the Thin Films and Surfaces groups.
