This full day event at the Dalton Cumbrian Facility aims to bring together the many interested parties of West Cumbria’s Nuclear Legacy and explore how it could relate to improving the UK’s sovereignty in the use and research of important novel Medical Radionuclides. Talks will explore the science and technologies to best utilise the legacy in a medical industry context and set the scene for potential work that can be done now and in the future. Following talks, participants will be invited to have a guided tour of the Dalton Cumbrian Facility.
