Tessa Baker


Tessa Baker is a Reader in Cosmology and a Royal Society University Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). She specialises in testing the nature of gravity and alternatives to General Relativity with the large-scale cosmic web and gravitational waves. She leads the QMUL LIGO group and the Tests of LCDM group within the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, and is the LISA Science Investigation chair for Fundamental Physics. She completed her training at the University of Oxford and at the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
