Rachael Windsor has a PhD in Astrophysics from Durham University focusing on high-redshift galaxies magnified by gravitational lensing, and did postdoctoral work at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Melbourne using the Hubble Space Telescope to detect the faintest lensed galaxies at high-z. She now lives on the Norfolk coast teaching Maths.
