Jennifer Fowlie is an Associate Scientist at the Stanford Institute for Materials and Energy Sciences at SLAC National Lab where she synthesizes and characterizes oxide thin films for electronic and memory applications. This follows on from two years as a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in Stanford University’s Department of Applied Physics working on novel superconducting thin films. Originally from Scotland, she did her undergraduate degree at the University of St Andrews and then moved to Switzerland to pursue a PhD in the Department of Quantum Matter Physics at the University of Geneva.
