Jake Ayres is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow (2022-) at the University of Bristol where he also held an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellowship (2020-2022) and received his PhD (2020). Jake’s research is principally focused on the study of unconventional superconductors utilizing experimental techniques in conjunction with the application of high magnetic fields and hydrostatic pressure. Most recently, he has studied the magnetotransport of cuprates high-T_c superconductors but has also studied iron-based and organic systems.
